Iridology is a science which aims the study of the iris and its relationship with the changes that occurs in our body, whether organic, metabolic, nutritional, nervous, hormonal, as well as, psychological and emotional influences.
That is possible, through the observation of the structures of the fibers that compose the iris and its coloration. Every single part of our body are reflected in the iris, which is the colored part of the eye.
Its study can reveal much about the health of the patient and the genetic load that he received.
There are records that the father of medicine, Hippocrates, who lived around 400 years A.C., already recommended that it always looked in the iris of the patient, but it was in the nineteenth century that the Hungarian Ignatz Von Peczely developed the diagnosis by iris.
Peczely as a child, played with an owl, that had a broken leg, and realized that in a determined place of iris appeared a signal, which would gradually disappear as the owl recovered. Then, as a doctor he started to observe in his patients, if the same coincidence happened. He worked in the hospital of the College of Medicine, in surgery, where he did more comparisons, and observed also that certain medicine generate certain changes in the color of the iris. It was the first Iridology chart.
Iridology isn’t a therapy but a tool for pre-diagnosis. These revelations are possible because in the iris we can find the nerve terminals of the body, and to any change a sign appears in the corresponding area. Surgeries are not found in the iris because the anesthesia blocks the nervous system. It happens, for example, the iridologist sees a vesicular very inflamed and the person saying that he doesn’t have that organ anymore. Also a pregnancy, as something natural, cannot be found, because it doesn’t change the iris.
